Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate Ofqual (QCF) 1 day

Our First Aid courses have been put together by our Emergency Service Staff Trainers who not only have the knowledge and qualifications but have the practical experience of dealing with real life incidents.

Who can attend

Anyone wanting to enhance their knowledge of First Aid. This Course would be suitable for nominated workplace First Aiders in low risk work environments such as Offices.

What will you learn?

The Course will give you the knowledge to assist a person in an emergency situation. It covers the following subjects

The role of the first aider Fainting
Managing an emergency Health and safety (first aid) regulations
Communication and casualty care Resuscitation (adult CPR)
Bleeding (minor and severe) Seizures (adult)
Burns Shock Choking (adult)
Unconscious casualty

Course duration

One day (6 guided learning hours)
(Successful candidates will be eligible for discounted annual refreshers.)

Assessment

Written assessment and practical assessment by Trainer

Certification

Successful candidates will receive a certificate (an Ofqual regulated Qualification) which is valid for three years
